Easily match tiles to your needs
One of the first things that should come to mind is design. Will a pattern tile best fit the room, or will a smooth surface do the trick?
For rooms with higher chances of a wet floor, consider a rougher texture that prevents slipping. Tiles can either be glossy or matte, depending on the finishing process. Consider how the room will be used and choose a tile that will serve that purpose.
Regarding the shape of the tile, this can be either flat or three-dimensional. A certain design can be carved into the tile in order to achieve a three-dimensional effect, or a pattern can be engraved on the surface of the tile. More often than not, the textured appearance is emphasized through different painting methods.
